By integrating with your Microsoft Active Directory or LDAP-compatible directory, Mediasite leverages the users and groups you already have in other systems. Simply define Mediasite roles and permissions and assign them to users and groups. Don't have an existing directory? Use the built-in Mediasite Directory which supports the same role-based security model.

Mediasite also protects your content by requiring authentication before creating, moderating or editing presentations or using other management functions. All presentation assets can be secured too, including players, catalogs, schedules, analytics, presenter profiles and more.
